  • 80x 1-to-1 sessions

  • 19-25 year olds or new practices and start-ups

  • Under-represented groups from the boroughs of Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark, Wandsworth

  • January 2021 - March 2022

You can book free mentoring and Q&A sessions to gain career guidance, improved awareness of career opportunities or to discuss 'hot topics' that concern the built environment today. Practicing architects, urban designers and mentors will offer support and advice to others looking to progress within the industry.

For those later in their career trajectories seeking to establish independent businesses, you will be able to gain advice, useful resources - for example policies and best practice - to help increase the capacity of fledgling underrepresented-led architecture practices.

You can also book free 1-to-1 CV surgery sessions to help prepare for the workplace and gain advice on CV creation/ update or making job applications.

Tell me more

You can book a free session through Eventbrite. All mentoring will take place virtually (more details on registration).

Let us know your interests, advice you are seeking and/or the hot topics you would like to discuss when you register. We will then be able to match you up with a mentor with relevant experience and knowledge.

We do have some specific eligibility requirements for the mentoring (during the pilot phase January 2021 to March 2022):

  • You must live in the boroughs of Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark or Wandsworth

  • And you must be from an under-represented group (Black, Asian and multi ethnic individuals, women, non-binary individuals or people with disabilities)

  • And you must be 19-25 years old or a new practice/ start-up

You will be asked to complete details on registration. Not sure if you are eligible to participate or why these requirements exist? Download the latest FAQs here or get in touch.
